How many Sport Jtd 150s with Leather were sold in the UK?
So when a nice Stromboli example with 71k on the clock VN55 RXZ sold for £3300 within 6 hours of being posted on Autotrader, I wondered how many more might be out there hence exactly how wishful my search for a good one is. First port of call was the DVLA who after 6 inappropriate telemenus and a 10 minute wait connected me to Tracy. Now, Tracy doesn't much like people, or cars, or her job and didn't appear to consider my inquiry to be a worthwhile investment of her taxpayers time. Apparently the DVLA can't provide this information but it can be elsewhere obtained from a HPI checker (it can't) who, she conceded, obtain their information from the DVLA (I see) and the 'other places' fairy. When pressed on the matter, it turns out that this fairy is very secretive about it's erm... other places and she insisted that I called another number. Anyway, the chap at Experia HPI was much more helpful and pointed me to Alfa UK, who would have been my second port of call had I not spoken to Tracy about fairys. Alfa UK were also helpful and they will email the info to me if they have it tomorrow. I'll keep you all posted.
In the mean time, does anyone else have any suggestions about the whereabouts of the 'other places' fairy or whether the DVLA would release this info under the Freedom of Information Act 2000? Even the dates between which the Sport were available would be a very rough indicator.
