Totally Alfa sell the ribe bits, or you can buy the laser ones. Even those ones though are pretty hard to get onto the bolts properly. I've got a ribe screwdriver which (in conjunction with a pair of mole grips) works really well.
There are a number of other bolts attached to the sump as well. One from the rear engine mount, and a horizontal one that bolts through the driveshaft support bracket.
Or, if you're really unlucky, you'll have one of the new sumps that has an integrated bracket. In which case you need to remove the driveshaft as well.
I use the loctite instant gasket that's for oily places. Can't remember the number off the top of my head. I find it easier to apply it to the block when fitting the sump from below...
