Once you have fitted them, you have the problem of brake balance. What is the area of the Brembo pistons? If (as I suspect) it's greater than the Alfa units, there will be more front bias to your brakes - you will be losing perfomance from you rear brakes? There may also be greater pedal travel as more fluid is displaced.
What about the disks? Are the Alfa disks large enough to cope with the pads in the Brembo brakes?
Just a few thoughts because Alfa put a lot of work into brake design - all things being equal, bigger brakes should give better performace but do you need it? On the track, the improved fade performance is important but on the road; well I wouldn't want to be around if you are getting anywhere near the limits!!
