Headlight bulb replacement: further question

Further to my question (Help: 156 - how do you release headlight bulb holder?) last week about how to release the bulb holder clip (dipped headlight bulb) I've just noticed the bulb is still out of alignment.
Member "Toxic" mentioned in his reply that the bulb has to be inserted at a specific angle. I've tried different angles but can't seem to get it right.
Any ideas? Please can you quote replies re. the angle as hours of the clock eg. 10 o'clock, 3 o'clock etc.
(It's the right hand side headlight by the way).
