Thumbs Up Tyres: Bridgestone Potenza S03-PP

Not been around here much recently.

Just had 4 of these in size 215/45ZR17 fitted to my 147 Selespeed and wow! If you're looking for a tyre recommendation I can only say this is the best rubber I've ever had.

Steering's lighter, noise is reduced and the grip is fantastic. I got mine from MyTyres for 96 a corner and got them fitted at R-Tec.

I'm going to be giving these a good thrashing over the next few days so I can gauge what they're like in different conditions. I'm hoping for a wet day too so I can see what the rain performance is like.

Soon to have Black Diamond Combi discs, Black Diamond Predator pads and Goodridge zinc plated brake hoses fitted too. Watch this space for a review of those.

"Ah," said Dirk "it is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious."

I hope they last longer than the S02's I had on my 145....

Re: Tyres: Bridgestone Potenza S03-PP

I've used mytyres.co.uk for all my tyres for both cars for the past few years and have had excellent service. Haven't found anywhere else close.
The only hassle is the grudging reluctance you get from your local tyre store when you ask them to fit tyres you've bought yourself!
