If you swap enough parts across, then yes.

But...it'll be a lot older. I'd drop a new head on it and take it from there. A head from any TS engine (even a 1.6) should be ok.

I've got a couple at the moment....one's away being skimmed, the other has been removed and not touched.

Had a look on ebay and a recon head with all valves and other bits replaced is £315 delivered. This includes head gaskets and new bolts. Is this a good price?
