Just a note on Eibachs and Koni FSDs. I've just driven up to Yorkshire and back on the A1. Going North just above the M18 turn off, inside lane was in bad shape, lots of little ruts and a few shallow pot holes. It was a nightmare in the cabin, lots of quick jolts and twice the telephone holder got shook out of it's fixings, I ended up having to sit in the outside lane because the ride was getting unbearable. Going through roundabouts is great, there's no diving of weight, just goes through like it's on rails. All I'd say is the FSD/Eibach combo is not the be all and end all of suspension, great in corners, but with 18" wheels, P-zero rosso's and sub standard roads, you're gonna get back shudders and jolts. I don't know enough about suspension to know whether it's the springs being too stiff, something to do with the FSDs or hard sidewalls on the tyres or the whole combo. I guess you just can't have it all, but at some point the tyres will wear out at which point I'll put Toyo T1r's on, see how it rides then may switch to a slightly softer spring that hopefully won't dive into corners like on my 156 Sportwagon, which can be scary. If you want 'plush' do not get the above combo.
