Re: battery died out thats my third in two years
Battery life gets shortened from various reasons. If you leave your car in your garage for one month is not the healthiest thing for the battery.. You also have to be very careful with its maintenance. Clean poles and fluid level checking is necessary. Is your generator working properly? You should read 13.8V when the engine is working, and 12V - 12.5V with the engine off.
For the devices, the only one that should be connected to a permanent sypply is your alarm. It doesnt matter if you leave the alarm armed or not for a short or long perion, it always sucks 8-10mA current, which is not that much. Your ICE devices should get switched supply (except from the main supply of the amplifier which must be directly on the battery - this doesnt draw any current if the amp is off). You can also have an electrician to mesure the idle current draw (the current that is drawn with engine, lights, ICE off) If its much more than the alarms specs, then you must search what else is drawing current.
Otherwise... you have a leak.... but its not that much of an often case.
