Swapping 1.9 JTD

hi every body my car is 147 1.6ts and i want to swap 1.9 jtd what things that i must change, can i use my old ecu and gearbox? and what about the fuel tank?

Anything is possible with enough time and money but i would say that this one of the more impossible swaps to attempt!

it would be cheaper and probably better to just buy a jtd 147. The wiring would be completely different. petrol to petrol is "easy" but from petrol to diesel or vice versa is pointless. You dont know what kind of problems the car will have. also the jtd engine is pretty heavy, so i think you would need to look at all the suspension components i.e. driveshafts, probably stronger shocks.
And no the ECU would need to be changed if im right, your car either has 105 or 120bhp depending on the year and the first jtds had 105 and then 110 and 115bhp. But the torque would be completely different. Save yourself the time, pain and money and just buy an original jtd.
