It sounds like the op has a cf3 v6 which means it's fairly easy to remove the intake manifold. I'm on my phone so details may be sketchy but the procedure is:
Disconnect the battery
Remove the air intake trunking from the maf to the throttle body.
Disconnect the wiring to the throttle body.
Disconnect the wiring to the engine ecu
Disconnect the breathers and fuel vapour feeds.
Disconnect the fuel line to the fuel injector rail and unclip it from the top of the manifold
Disconnect the earth lead by the ecu
Take the 13mm bolt out that goes into the cast alloy engine hanger from the bar across the back of the manifold.
Open the black box on he back of the manifold and disconnect all the connectors.
Undo and remove the 2 5mm Allen bolts that hold either end of the intake manifold on to the cam cover
Unclip the larger of the two clips on the intake runners.
Twist the manifold up and away from the runners and pull out out of the engine bay.
