32mpg would be great, i use mainly A and B roads to get to work and regularly exercise the engines which is very addictive, the downside is i am returning well under 30mpg.
I have serviced my cars with regular oil and filter changes, air filter every 6 months, new temp senders etc and it really makes no difference, if i use the full rev range i rarely get close to 30mpg in either car.
I have been reading in depth about oil and am considering a 0w/40 fully synthetic so as to aid cold starts and hopefully gain a little mpg at the same time, i read that it is no different at running temp than a regular 10w/40 or 5w/40.
But i don't think you will ever gain much more than 31/32mpg no matter how carefully the 2.0ltr twinspark is driven.
