156 Facelift Speed Sensor

I appreciate that the speed sensor has been discussed before for people fitting aftermarket sat nav stereos to their GTs or their 147s but I'm fitting one to my 04 facelift 156 JTD 20V and would really appreciate a pointer to where to look before I dismantle the rest of the dash trying to identify something that may be fitted to a 147 but not a 156!!!

I'm fitting a JVC KD-NX5000 to my 04 156 20V Sportwagon (wow what a car, only had it a month and it's transformed my communting!).

Any advice on where the best place to pick up the reverse sensor and I assume I can plug straight into the handbrake wire for it's sensor?

Regards the sat nav receiver - I'd like to use the one fitted to the car (previously had the Connect + with phone. But the JVC unit has come with a small enough reciever - is there any space inside the top air vent plastic unit and if so how do I get into it?

Cheers, appreciate a lot of questions but it's my first Alfa and I love it!
