Just had fsd's and eibachs fitted to my Gt
Ok guys i promised i would report back.
Ive had the fsd's on for a couple of weeks now so have had enough time to really test them out on the sussex backroads. My Gt is wearing 18 inch multispoke alloys et35 and to my surprise the rears rub the top of the arch liner! which was making a hell of a scrubbing noise. I have managed to pin the liner back a bit and things have improved.
I have to be honest the ride has definately improved, it takes the bumps better! but i have lost a bit of urgency in steering feel!! And at times the car feels to soft and lazy!!! the car leans far to much? yeah i know i was little surprised to? The suspension bottoms out far to easy to.
I have to be honest, if i had the choice again, i would without doubt just change the springs to eibach and use the standard shocks! Best compromise.
All in all not overly impressed!! Its a personal thing and it really depends how you drive your car. The original suspension was to nervous for me on the sussex country backroads. This new set up is really odd? which is why i think the standard shocks with eibach progressive rate springs is the best for the GT.
