Seeking a bit of GT buying advice for a friend...

With a £5000 budget in mind and wanting a 3.2V6...

What should they look out for, avoid and check for when looking/buying?

Is that enough to get a good one? What's the price range? What sort of age should they look for? Are there any known common issues like rust/problem parts to look out for?

Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

there are a couple on flea bay for less than £5000. I doubt if any of them have Q2 done mind ya and will probs be due belts pretty soon too but one of them is £3995 which give you some ££ to play with.

There is one for £3.5k at the moment in Rochdale, avoid that one it had dents everywhere and the passenger side had what I remember as football sized dents.. rubbish!

Cambelt change, Oil cooler pipes, radiator, suspension bushes (knocking), warning lights and all the usuals.
