Help Changing Out Aircon Unit in a 147

Hi All

My 147 A/C control unit is the box standard rotory knob one with no display as fitted in a Turismo. I keep seeing the digital units, I suspect in a Lusso and Ti etc on fleebay

Is it a straight swap to go to a digital display unit, or is it a lot more complicated than that?? Size wise the look the same in width and depth, but am I missing somethingt here??

its a straight swap you only need to remove the coin tray then 2 screws old it in. the only problem you will have is that your speedo will start to flash as the new unit wont be alligned to the car. you need to get this done either by someone with fiat ecu fix (think it can be done via this) or someone with accesss to alfa pc.
