Alfa GT rear bumper replacement?

Hi, this is a doozey of a question but it needs asking.

I was rear ended on a main national rd on the Monday of a bank holiday weekend, nobody injured apart from my "babys" rear bumper, where a tear of sadness leaked at the thought of the damage...

Now damage wasnt that bad (minor cracks on the bumper, scratching, rattle in boot) but the insurance folk were happy to honour the repairs. Now my two questions are, answer on a postcard...

1. Should I get the bumper replaced or just respayed
2. The Alfa dealer quote was 662 or 600 for respray

I shouldnt care about the price as I'm not paying but what would you condiser a good price?

replace it, it will be a better job all round.

Rear ended in my Audi - a large ish dent in it that would have pulled out but I got a new bumper and it was an easier job all round with no filler!

just make sure the paint matches to your liking!
