Re: clutch master cylinder
Collected the car yesterday (Tuesday) and they told me it now does not sqweek, but by the time I did my 15 mile trip back home, guess what....sqweeking again! They lubricated alot, but to no avail. Upon further inspection, I took off the dust cap to the master cylinder and I think the piston which goes to the master cylinder is try around the inside of the rubber lining. When they had it apart I reakon they forgot to lubricate the upper half of the shaft and only did the lower when they put it back. What I am basically saying in your case is the sqweek may not have been the course of the possible failure of your master cylinder as mine sqweeked after they had put a brand new one back in!
BTW - I would not attempt to do this at all - I have some technical and mechanical knowledge but it is VERY tight under the dash and down by the bulkhead - I got mine done under warrenty though.
