147 clutch

Hi everyone, I was wondering if ya can tell me when a clutch is ready to be replaced? What are the signs?
I have never had a clutch go on me so I have no clue what the signs are

Thanks for looking

Floor it in a high gear, and if the revs increase but the speed doesn't it's time for a new clutch.
