If it is glowplugs, at least one of them will be duff. Not necessarily a problem since they are only operated below a certain temperature, the glowplug light will come on to warn the circuit is being checked/heated and go out once it's finished.
Always worth waiting for the light to go out before starting your car, if you start it while the glowplug light is on, it usually interrups the heating, or in this case, possibly interrupt the check and flag an MSCF light.
Thats my understanding of how it works, used to get same warning on my old Laguna Dci if i started it when the plug light was on. Replaced the plugs and was fine after.
Worth getting someone to test the plugs first.
