Alfa 147 suspension/under-carriage renewal
I collected my 4 years old 147 TS 2.0 Selespeed last week.
The previous owner took car of the car pretty well, servicing
it at the regular 10,000km, oil change etc etc.
He did the belt change at 60,000km as a precaution.
It has 96,000km on the clock now.
However, he did not changed the shocks and the upper / lower
suspension arms or anything else related to the under-carriage.
A set of Eibachs were added 2 years ago, operating with the stock shocks,
to get the lowered look. The car is fitted with a bodykit from new.
Now I need new shocks, was thinking Bilstiens B6 or B8s.
Any comments about the Yellow adjustable Konis ???
I was told to stay away from those.
Will probably need the upper / lower arms, ARB bushes etc.
Is there anything else that I need to change as the car is bouncing
around on the Eibachs now as the shocks are totally dead . . . . .
I am in Asia and I need to order all the bits online and have them DHLed.
I need a reliable source who can supply the said parts, any recommendations please.
Oh and do we generally go for "Original" parts (OEM) or any compatible supplier
will do ???
Any help will be very much appreciated.
