Yep, its me again with another bloody problem! but this time it isnt the cars fault
Was on my way back from Belfast to Galway late last night when i banged straight into a hole, loud bang etc. Stopped the car immediately and with a flashlight i checked out the under carriage and couldnt see anything and no damage to the sump.
So lucky escape i thought.
Today the car began making clicking noises whilst going staight or turning left. This is all coming from the drivers side. Then suddenly the steering wheel began to judder badly and tried to pull itself to the right. Stopped the car and inspected again to the find the outer CV boot completely ripped open.
Ok i thought, not so bad but i was completely afraid to drive the car, as i was only a few more miles from home, i continued on my way at a very slow speed. but it did it all over again, clicks, vibrations, pulls etc.
When i pulled up at the house a passer-by heard me coming and said he used to be a mechanic and that my driveshaft sounds knackered.
Any thoughts?? Cant believe that this has happened one week before im due to leave on my EU road trip
