steering wheel

Ive had my 156 V6 for 5 months and i love it to bits but the steering wheel isnt straight.I need to take it off the splines to adjust it but what do i do to get round the airbag,is it a difficult job?.

Take your car to a suspension alignment centre and get them to put the wheel to the straight ahead position and then realign the suspension.

Yup, agree with Pacs, even taking the wheel of may not get it lined up properly.

If you insist on removing the wheel then you'll need to also consider the risk of removing the airbag...although it's not a difficult job so long as you disconnect the battery (both leads) for at least 15mins (I did about 3hrs!) first...please note I will not be held responsible for any injury and you follow the advice at your own risk
