Its a 150bhp model, same as mine. 175 was the first of the 20v's, which came with the exterior facelift. Rear shocks are gone on her, see how low she sits at the back, should be exactly level with the front, nivomat self-levelers fitted to all sport wagons ensure that. Has been doing a fair bit of lugging for them to go at that mileage, mine did 150k, when I replaced them with koni's but they were still fine. New nivomats cost £400 + each, substitutes require different springs, which may raise the height too much for some tastes. Re: the cambelt change never believe anyone on that subject unless he's got an invoice from a reputable company to prove it, and you can ring to confirm it was done and they will provide a guarantee for their work. I get 45 to 48 mpg from mine all day, every day, current average is 47.8 for the last 3800 miles. But I don't do a lot of motorway, motorway brings it down, because they don't have a 6th gear, which it is well able to pull. I think, if your gonna spend that money find one from a dealer with warranty, great cars, but you need some backup with them, someone to share the financial heartache you might suffer. No such thing as a bargain Alfa.....
