156 1.8 TS Misfire power restriction
Hi guys, been having this problem for a couple of weeks now, its a 156 1.8 TS 1998 its holding back on power and being very jerky at low speed, when starting first thing in the morning i'm getting a misfire and idle is all over the place ,not responding to throttle very fluffy ,then when hot still jerky especially when in 4th gear at around 40mph jumps all over the place like a bloody kangaroo,i have replaced the lamda sensor, maff sensor, induction duct, and have also had to have a new exhaust from cat to back, i noticed on the way home this evening i am getting the injector light coming on randomly on the dash, i had a diagnostic test done last week and had no fault codes present which i found strange now i am thinking since my ECU light ignited a couple of times this evening does this mean i will have stored fault codes now ?? my garage did advise me to check the fuel filter , but since posting on here earlier someone comented that it was situated inside my fuel ,a real **** to r&r and was in fact a one fit item and would never need to be replaced ? it may also help to point out that she has done 215,000 miles any help gratefully received guys as i have spent quite a bit of money on her i don't wanna give up , many thnx .........Mark
