156 selespeed high and bouncy idling, Me 3.1 injection
A little advice needed....
There is a lot of talk but no good solution...
After cleaning my throttle body(not a recommended thing to do, didn't knew) idling rpm are about 1450 and bouncing between 2000 and 1500 when moving. I think the problem is that the throttle valve position is wrong, because after removing the dirt more air can flow by but the ecu adjusts the valve as it was with dirt in.
The MAF reading is 25 kg/h @ 1450rpm, is this correct?
Lambda graph is nicely oscillating between 60 and 720 mv.
Accelerator pedal sensor shows 0% when untouched, throttle position is 3.5 degrees @ 1450rpm and 2.8 deg @ 1290 rpm.
Is there any way to calibrate the valve?
Did the 90sec on-90sec off-15min idling reset procedure but no help...
Is it normal, that throttle valve spring holds the valve a bit open when engine off?
The car is 156 selespeed 1999 with motronic me 3.1 injection, throttle control is fly-by-wire.
