Today i visited another Alfa quick service. I contacted the guy through a common friend, and thus he spent much time on investigating my car. The verdict:
Front noise: Cog rail (the left inner arm is fecked). He raised the car with the wheels free, and moved the left wheel, it was knocking like crazy.. I ve been in 4 Alfa "experts" just the last year about it, nobody cared to check the cog rail... They DIDNT CARE, one man cared and found it in some minutes. Thus its not "hard to find", its hard to make the *******s do their job. The result: 1000€ that i m struggling to cover in on warranty ( which expires in a month.
AH, i forgot to mention, i already had the cog rail replaced once more during the 1st year of ownership (and i had the 15" wheels then ).
Rear Noise: Shocks. They make noise since 15.000kms ( now i have 37.000). Probably the shocks are made in Turkey, like the ones they fit in the Ceicento.
One of the next dayz i ll renew my problems list and post it again, thats for the Greek niewbies who are about to buy an Alfa. Think twice. Dont expect any kind support from any Athens' dealer. I would like to have been warned about it before buying it.
[Edit] ehm, apologies for my English, "cog rail" must be steering rack
( thanks Lars
