Well, I've been happily driving my 156 for the last 5 years and I now clocked up just over 100k miles.
I need to keep it going for another year (at least) due to other financial commitments (house extension and fa,ily car repayment).
I know for sure that front brakes discs + pads needs to be replaced (again) and I was quoted about £100 incl. labour for plain discs & pads manufactured by Brembo ..... Sounds to good to be true !
As anyone good/bad experience of these discs and pads ? Are they any better than the Alfa ones ?
I don't feel like splashing on Ferodo pads and some uprated discs (although I'd like to) as I suspect that I'll very soon have to replace shocks, springs and other suspension components.
This is leading to the 2nd question.
I've seen EB spares advertising their own suspension kit developped and manufactured jointly with Eibach/Bilstein.
Any good ?
Any good value for money ?
Help required please as I don't want to end up with a 4 digits bill
