v6 over heating
Rightio, its been a while but I think its possibly my radiator is on its way out.
Drive the car hard and its ok, however driving along in 6th at 40-50mph and the car starts to over heat, and the fans wern't colling it down enough. Once i'd sped up to 70ish it soon cooled down.
Sat in traffic and she gets hot but the fans keep her cool and has never over heated while sat in traffic
Now I'm thinking radiator, as water pump was replaced with a metal bladed one 2 years ago when I had the cam belt, tensionors, guids, aux belt, guides andtensioners replaced.
Now if it was a water pump issue I would expect it to be cooler at lower speeds and over heat when pushed hard.
The rad in there now is 5-6 years old.
Any opinions on this?
The Car in front is my crumple zone
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you
