Sat nav unit - forget it to be honest. I would have liked one just to keep it all integrated and original looking but it is not as easy as plug and play. You need to buy a unit that comes with the specific wiring. Then there is the issue of the aerial, which would also have to be replaced. As the unit also comes with a sim tray and phone capability, you would also need a new steering wheel with the buttons - after all what's the point if it is not fully integrated!!??
I have 18's on my GT - they look amazing but decrease the turning circle and make the ride much harder! I wish I could try 17's for a week and see if i would swap or not.
If you have a smartphone, why not take a look at xcarlink for bluetooth and streaming music - Tried it with a couple of phones but works best with iphone as the sound from the sat nav app kicks in over the stereo AND you retain bluetooth connection to the unit through the additional bluetooth kit you can buy. There is also the aftermarket Oxygen O2 unit which is amazing!
