Mine was fine yesterday. I tend to stick the vents to screen and feet, put fan to 3 and temp to coldest. At 4 you get more airflow but the compressor hasn't had time to cool it so you get a coolish blast on 4 as opposed to an icy-cold blow on 3. By using the screen rather than face setting you get a much wider area of cool air and it doesn't dry your eyes like the face vents do.
Another trick I've learned is to angle the rear vents to they are barely open, pointing straight up. The cool air tends to gently chill the back of the neck as it drops back down through the cabin.
