Be careful with the windows' switch
You wont believe what happened. Its been some days now that one of the window switches (driver's side) stopped working smoothly. The button seemed hard to be pressed and the window didnt work well. Some other times it seemed to work perfectly.
I blamed Alfa quality for once more but having great experience on greek dealers I decided to dismantle the switch in pieces myself, to see what happened and perhaps fix it.
I had to use 6 toothpicks to release the clips that hold the gray part on the black part of the switch. If anyone tries it for some reason, be careful not to loose the small white plastic pins that there are inside. These pins are undernead each button, to trasnform the button movement to the electronic board that there is inside. My problem seemed to be a small piece of plastic thing ( that had nothing to do with the switch itself) which was stuck underneath one button. This must have somehow entered the switch through the hole there is (see the image i posted) underneath the button ( i was cutting a piece of plastic as a spacer days ago when fitting my tweeters and a small piece of plastic found its way inside the window switch !! )
PS: You DONT want to drop water or anything liquid in there.... its full of electronics and it wont be cheap for sure !
