Timing Belt fitting.....that cant be right.

So its coming up for my 36k service, and i need somewhere to do the timing belt.
Tried Arnold Clark Fiat in aberdeen.

Got quoted, 555 for the part and fitting!

Surely not. is that a normal quote?

Anyone know any good alfa friendly garages in aberdeen?

Hi Scobbie-147,

I've used Iainfm for a complete rebuild after cambelt snapped on my 156 (after a staggering quote from my garage). He came and towed the car for me, helped me source all the parts, kept me informed of all stages of the rebuild answering all my emails really quickly letting me know what was going on and even providing some pics.

He's no too far from you either as he's just doon the road in Kinross. Thoroughly reliable and decent bloke only too willing to help. I've been to see him again recently for a complete leather interior which he fitted and am up again soon for some other bits and bobs.

If Iain is busy - its his hobby, not his job - I've heard CP motors in Dundee are OK:
