Thanks for the reply.
Original problem is the gears won't shift out of neutral, have a Clutch Range sensor error on the selespeed ECU.
I followed Smacky's intructions on adjusting the clutch rod but as I adjusted it, the clutch position reading (forget the exact name of the value) wouldn't change in Alfadiag or FiatECUScan, this was after I replaced my dodgy accumulator.
Have read many threads regarding fitting the sensor, turning clockwise to not damage the internal spring (bought a spare just in case) but even if I adjust the clutch rod so the actuator is flush with the casing, the rod that spins within the clutch sensor is not in a position to refit the sensor, it lines up directly with the screw holes, from what I can tell it should roughly be perpendicular to the screw holes of the sensor (please correct me if I'm wrong).
If I push the clutch arm in manually, how much should the rod turning the sensor normally spin ? Currently mine is only turning 1/3 of the circle.
The picture was an illustration of where the sensor rod was in at the extremes of the clutch rod adjustment.
