My beloved 147 Selespeed decided to leave me out on the street last thursday evening when i stopped.
I got the usual ASR, ABS, VDC warning lights (which i have become used to in the meantime), but this time it was different, i also couldn't engage cruise control (which was the first time).
So i decided to pull over and just restart the car (as that seems to cure most of the problems). But i left the car in 1st gear. Not a big problem as so, but when i tried to start the car up again .... nothing happened, no way to get the car into neutral to start it. The Selespeed pump made noise, so nothing wrong there. No option was left for me, besides calling a tow truck. I hadn't called for five minutes or the car decided to start, so problem gone.
But, i decided nevertheless to drive to my dealer to let him check out things.
So arrived at the dealer, i put the car into neutral, step out to inform the guys that i was there. Got back in and ...... basically nothing, no way to get the car into any gear. Neutral it was, and neutral it is since than.
They are trying to solve the problem, but they can't even get into the car with the diagnosis computer, which doesn't make the problem easier to solve.
I hope it will be solved soon.
All your sympathy is very welcome now, because i'm considering to sell the car and buy something else (Honda?)
