rhett71 - Cheers for the reply, I have been away so just got back into looking at the replies - Just wondering if I change the anti roll do you suggest changing anything else at same time? and or can all these be done on there own, if that makes sense
They can all be done one at a time to try and reduce your costs in search for a cure. You do need to be a fairly confident with the spanners but all do-able on your drive!!
Slightly different order:-
1. OEM Anti roll bar £60 for part max 4hours labour for DIYer probably £200 labour at a garage. Needed jacking fairly high in the air with axle stands to do everything on the drive.
2. Lower wishbones not needed them yet, Around £63 each again about the same labour as no1.
If you did 1&2 together it might make refitting the subframe easier but 8 hours for the DIYer and probably 4-6 in a well equipped garage with 4 post lift etc
3. Upper Wishbones £30 each 1.5hours per side but you need a ball joint splitter
4. Droplinks £15 each,20 minutes a side with or without a grinder max, make sure both wheels are off the ground even if fitting one.
Hope thats some help, I'm sure there will be other suggestions but I'm basing it on my 6 years of ownership, and no-one but me works on my car, cos the missus won't let me pay anyone else to do a crap job!!
