sort of water leak ?

I have just changed the head gasket and timing belt on my 147 1.6 TS. Many thanks to the Alfaworkshop for supplying the parts, and advice as to which cam lock tool to buy.

Having completed the work, the car fired up and runs fine, I am being carefull for 500 miles, which was a recomendation from a friend. I have noticed after a journey and when the engine is up to temperature, about an eggcup full amount of water appears on my drive, roughly under the coolent expansion tank. So far I havent manged to find the leak, or anything wet in the engine bay.

I was wondering is the water coming from an overflow on the expansion tank, or somewhere else.

Any advise would be appreciated.

After 3.5 years I am going to change my 147, I am thinking of getting a diesel, anybody got any thoughts on this ? are the diesels as much fun to drive as a pertol ? etc.
