This is what my local dealer recommended I use in my 156 (48K) instead of Selenia 20K. I especially wnet to get the 20k, which they had, but he told me that the HPX(reconditioning oil) is what they are using for all services in the workshop. It's 20w50 grade, the same as what I use in my 998cc 1980 mini????, liquid tar!
A bit bizzaire no?? - I decided to purchase neither, instead I opted for my usual tippel Magnatec.
I have a mate that changed to HPX on his last service on a 2000 146 (60K), stops the rattle in the morning + no variator noise!!
Any views, is this the practice in the UK and in Europe??
