147 Airbag connectors
Had my new (to me!) 147 for a couple of days now! Love it! Giving it a good going over (covered about 300 miles now) theres no knocks, creaks or squeaks to mention.
The only issue i have, which i was aware of, is the airbag light is on. I've gone through the threads on here, and had a play with things in the car.
Now, there is a bit of history here - there are three receipts - 2 from main dealer diagnosing/rectifying a curtain airbag connection fault, and another receipt from an indie replacing some control board inside the steering wheel.
The problem is still there.
I have disconnected, cleaned and re-connected the connectors in the boot lining - light still on.
Then, i've given the connectors under the seats a jiggle (not dis/reconnected though) and now the airbag light goes off on starting and back on about 2 seconds later.
Have i found the problem? Do i need to make the additional effort to get these connectors off for a clean? Are there any other accessible connectors in the car i can try before heading out for some diagnostics?
