Clutch Problem at High Revs?
I have been having problems with my clutch recently on my 147 1.6 petrol. Whilst driving down the motorway I came to a junction only to put my clutch down and it would not come back up again.
I took it to the garage to see if they could find anything that might be wrong with it. They bled the system and said that the fluid in the cylinder was like black sludge so they cleared that out and said that they couldn't see anything else that could be wrong with it. They filled the system again and hoped that that was the cause of the problem.
After a couple of days the clutch felt ok, but then as I was overtaking someone at high revs I tried to change up gear just for the same problem to occur. Anyone know why this could be happening and what the solution is? Whilst driving round normally the clutch is fine and only seems to have issues when at high revs.
Any help is appreciated.
