Getting a cheesed off with the MCSF coming on at least once a month on my car!!!
It sometimes comes on in a morning when first started and after being left all day outside work it doesn't come on again, no engine picture on display, as if it has cured itself, but then when you least expect it, beep, beep it comes on again!!! No set period, sometimes it can be days, sometimes can be minutes!!!
Took to a alfa/fiat specialist and done everything told to do for a misfire. (new plugs, then new leads and then a new coil pack on C2, this is what originally started it), but it still comes on and it's money all the time to have it switched off and told I need to get ******* fitted.
PLUS all the time these parts are being fitted the car seems to run the same, no difference in performance. There has always been a slight difference when you get to 40mph, like a tiny misfire or something, but I thought that was down to the tyres, wheels etc.
I thought if I got hold of one of these 'UNIVERSAL CAR DIAGNOSTIC FAULT CODE READER OBD2I' could at least tell what was going on.
Will this be OK for my car
