I really wish that Alfa Romeo makes this

Forget it. The GT is a run-out model on an obsolete chassis.

Some third party might use it as a template though.

This car should have been a no-brainer for Alfa. I can only suspect that the 'trend' for metal hard tops put them off.

if they are saying the Spiders handling and road manor was lacking compared to competitors imagine how that would have done being based on the 147/156 chasis. that stuff was alright 15 years ago but not today in a convertible.

I think they went the right way with the spider as they were updating the model range anyway a old GT drop top sat in the line up wouldn't have fitted in well.

Looks bloomin' gorgeous, but a practical, drivable car? I doubt it. Either as heavy as a truck due to chassis stiffening or as wobbly as a jelly!
