Cry Like A Baby My Michelin Pilot finally gives up

I've had a set of Michelin Pilot PS2s for some time now, maybe 3 years, and pretty impressed with their performance, even during track days.

I knew the front tyres were due replacement even though tread depth didnt look too bad, went to check the tyre pressures today and noticed this

I had the wheels off a couple of weeks back to replace the discs and tyres were ok then, I knew there was a bit of scrubbing on the inside tread but didnt expect to see this.

Anyway, carefully drove to nearest tyre shop and bought two Falken 452s to replace them.
