Engine top rod bushes?

Does anyone have any experience of changing these on a 166 V-6? It looks a simple job and I'm just trying to find out if there are any traps for the unwary.

Re: Engine top rod bushes?

If you’re referring to the rod that connects the engine with the right hand front strut, I see no problem. When the joint is undone, the engine might move a bit in the remaining mounts, but it should be no problem placing a jack under the oil pan and realign the engine so you could bolt on the new joint.
