Brake pedal goes all the way down
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and my first post is a problem!
I have just changed brake discs and pads on my V6 GT, as well as replaced a couple of bleed nipples and solid pipes from the front calipers to flexi (since one burst on the motorway under heavy braking - but that's another story).
On bleeding the brakes I'm finding that the pedal goes all the way to the floor and doesn't get hard at all. I've bled all 4 corners and am getting no more air and nice clean fluid out. I did mange to empty the reservoir while changing the pipes but I'm pretty sure I've passed enough fluid through the system now that I'd have got any air out.
There are no leaks on the system and I'm not losing fluid but no amount of pumping the peddle is helping.
Does this sound like there is still more air in the system or an indication of another problem? It was all working fine before I started work on it...maybe I should have just left it alone!
Any advice is appreciated.
