[help] Air con - litte Cold one side - warm another

Now that the spring has come (specially here in Portugal), i tried to use the air con, but in LOW, and with the snow flake on, on max speed, it only blows a little cold for the passenger side, and warm on the driver side.

When i turn it on, i ear some clicks from the engine bay (sounds like the compressor clutch).

The air con fan, works during 10 sec, turns it off, and stays that way during 1 min, the it turns on again during 10 secs, and so on....

What can it be?

I have the car since february.

Maybe some gas filling?

It sounds like a low gas charge.

If it is a bit short, then the compressor will cut out on low pressure quite often.

The evaporator (the cold coil inside the car) will be starved of refrigerant and will only be partially cold.

If it is a gas charge problem then you have a leak somewhere, most likely to be the compressor seal, regular used throughout the year can prevent this problem.
