Help Fuel Ignition Errors + Immobiliser Failure

Hey guys,

Been having a few issues with my 147 over the past week and a bit, MCSF had popped up a few times and thanks to the guys at D&M it's been checked and come back as Ignition Failures each time (4 or 5 times now). I have put it down to rubbish fuel from the local Morrisons.

However this afternoon I unlocked the car, put in the key and was greeted with a lovely Immobiliser Failure warning and CODE on the dashboard... which was nice. I took the key back out and put it back in and the car fired up no problem at all.

The car was giving me low engine oil pressure warnings last night checked yesterday morning it was bang in the middle of the markers on the dipstick it took a litre of oil this afternoon to get back to a normal level, although needs a tiny bit more to get it to the full point.

I'm just wondering if any of this is connected, I'm hoping it all just teething problems as the engine has only done 1800 or so miles since it was rebuilt, but of course new owner, a bit jittery and paranoid

Thanks guys,

147's hate batteries on the way out of ones that have dead cells which love charge quicker than normal. I had immobiliser failure warnings and mcsf galore last month. Checked the battery and it was the original from factory. Fitted a new battery and all seems fine now.
