Hi again, Whilst servicing my 147 I noticed inner rear tyre wear on n/s rear wheel
, there is some play in the trailing arm to hub bush so am replacing these and then getting the rear tracking done. I also spotted a nail in a different tyre so took this to be repaired at the same place as I am getting the tracking done, the mechanic had a quick look to see if the adjusting bolts on the arms were corroded/seized and if he would be able to adjust it. He did the normal sucking air in between his teeth and said it may be o.k.
, anyway would it be advisable for me to dismantle and free up the adjusters? and are the adjusting bolts just on the rear arms or both front and rear?
Is it just me, all the other cars I have had, when they have broken down or needed some maintainance have been, in my mind, the worst cars in the world and money drains, but with the Alfa I don't seem to mind
spending money or getting my fingers dirty.
In fact in a perverse kind of way I kind of look forward to it
