Used Q2 value (the diff, not the whole car)
In my garage I have a whole Alfa GT JTD Q2 gearbox, in bits, doing nothing.
The gearbox itself is scrap (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gears are all shot). The Q2 was working perfectly before the 'box was pulled from the car.
Now that I'm happy that my replacement 'box is as described on the advert, I no longer neeed to keep hold of my previous.
Now, would it be wise to sell the whole lot as one (a box of bits), or split the Q2 from the bell housing (is there a demand for good used bell housings?) and sell seperatly?
The gearbox could be repaired (£500-£700 I was informed), but it was just as easy for me to buy a good used one.
Either way it's going on eBay soon.
