I was driving down the motorway a couple of days ago when I came to a junction, put my foot on the clutch to change down gear and there was no resistance on the clutch and it just stayed at the floor, I was unable to change in to a gear and so had to pull over at the side of the motor way.
I was just about to call the AA out when I tried pulling the pedal up and then tried to get into gear, this time it worked and so I managed some how to limp back home for the rest of the journey, I had to do the same thing as pulling the pedal back up a couple of other times to get all the way home.
I hadnt driven the car for a couple of days when I though I would go check and see hoe it is doing, the clutch seems alright again now, bit if I do a bit of a longer journey the same thing starts to happen again.
I have read a couple of post on here about what it might be but would appreciate if someone could give me more of an idea with my specific problem. Im hoping it might just be one of the cylinders as I cant really afford a new clutch.
Im driving a 147 1.6 petrol, car has done about 70,000 miles.
