Re: alfa GT
I would allways go for petrol model. And it is not for the lack of experience. I have done 40000 km in Honda accord 2,0i and now 30000km in 147 1,6TS. But my father had always a diesel an i have done aprox 15000km in his VW 1,9TDI, and 8000km in Mercedes C 270CDI. And I would still go for petrol. Yes, the 270CDI pulls like a bull in comparison vith 1,6TS, but I cant really comprare theese two cars. If I compared 2,7CDI with alfa 2,5 V6 I dont doubt the winner /not thinking only at power/. I hate the diesel sound /both TDI and CDI/. But the diesels are quite economy and for everyday use I could live with them.
Final word: when i drive CDI, I feel strong and fast, but alfa makes me smile, what diesel cant. And generaly I do not race other drivers, I race the road. So I dont care, if I am 5sec faster or slower, I want only to enjoy the ride.
